Great idea, so many people are surprised it is a specialise bag for dogs. Has been great helping us socialise our puppy with the noise and people in our area while he is unable to go for walks until after his final vaccination. Will also be great when can go for a walk when we want to go that bit further than he is capable. Recommend it especially for owners with small dogs.

It took about a month for the backpack to be delivered as a gift to my daughter. I placed the order and was thanked for "joining" Petyfy and never heard another word about my order. No shipping date. No tracking form. Nothing! My credit card had not been charged, so in mid-January, I placed another order and inadvertently ordered the wrong size--had to cancel and reorder. My daughter called me that night to say the original backpack had arrived! I had still heard NOTHING! Then the charge appeared on my credit card. I have been trying to get Petyfy to cancel my final order. That charge has been added to my credit card and now it seems I can't get it removed. I have emailed with no response. I hate to say something negative here, but maybe this is how I can get this rectified. My daughter is thrilled with the backpack but due to all the bad weather lately and her work schedule, she has not been able to go hiking with her dogs. Hopefully it will be as well made as it appears and she will get lots of use from it!
Please---if there is any way to help get that last order cancelled and charge removed I would be most grateful!

I would tell anyone ordering to understand that this company ships from Shanghai, China and it takes about a month to receive your order. I ordered a backpack on Dec. 14th and have not received it as of today, January 7th. It's in Nevada as of today and we live in Florida. Even if this backpack is the bomb I do not think I would order from them again. Buyer beware.

I am happy with the purchase. Delivery was good for during a pandemic and just before Christmas. The only thing I wish is that the shoulder straps were a little more robust. My dog is 14 years old with mobility problems and I am having trouble convincing her that she can't hike for herself. I am sure she will settle down after a few more try's.

Just got this today! Ordered the M for my 12.5-pound Shih Tzu— and the size seems great. I’m happy that the backpack itself is super light weight, as it’s heavy enough carrying a dog on your back (or front)! My pup was so comfy in the bag—that she stayed in there even after I took it off and opened it up!
One note: I’m of a slim-to-average build—and I found the waist belt none too big—even when adjusted—so I can imagine that this could be an issue for some. It only fits around one’s waist—and yet the backpack sits lower, so it’s hard to get the belt situated there.
I have not actually used this yet. It seems good—but I can imagine that it could be hard on one’s back if worn a long time.
However, overall, it’s super/cute (love the bright color) and practical (glad that there are lots of pockets). It’s incredibly easy to get your pet inside—and she seemed comfy there. I’ve tried two other backpacks before this—and this is much lighter weight than one of them and easier to use than the other one. Good product!
One last thing: delivery took a little longer than expected, but Covid and the holidays might be causing delays.

I got this bag several weeks ago because my older dog has trouble keeping up with my much younger dog. I love this bag. It allows me to exercise both dogs and when my older dog gets tired, I can keep going to make my younger dog happy! Works great and very comphy for my dog!

Sometimes my 4 lb Yorkie will walk, but usually she puts on the brakes. I end up carrying her. We both love the carrier; makes our walks enjoyable.

I purchased the medium size backpack for our pug. It is very attractive, well made, and has a lot of safety details. Unfortunately, our stubborn pup would not have anything to do with going in it, much less staying in it. I contacted the company for instructions to return it and request a refund only to learn that it would need to be sent out of the country at my expense. This was not acceptable since it would probably cost more to send than the purchase price and in this day and age of online shopping with the possibility of needed returns. After contacting their customer service regarding this matter and having a few back and forth communications, which by the way Petyfy was very prompt with their responses, it was agreed upon that they would give a partial refund without the need to return the backpack and that I would be free to do whatever I wanted with it. Of course, I would have preferred to receive a full refund, but under the circumstances was satisfied with this outcome. I received some money back and donated the backpack to a shelter.

I love the pet backpack. Just what i needed for my dog to ride on my scooter with me. It insures he cant jump off or fall off. I have a concern about the zipper lasting. It does not seem seem as substantial as rest of fabric.

I ordered the front pouch carrier. At the time my puppy weighed 3.5 pounds so I ordered the small. Unfortunately it took over a month to arrive from Shanghai and it is too small for her to comfortablely fit in and get it zipped. So disappointed that she doesn’t fit because it is exactly what I wanted. Well made, cute and comfortable to wear.

This doggy back pack is amazing . I love it . Is getting cold in New York so I put a warm little blanket inside to make my puppy more comfortable. I walked with it and rode my bike. The bag is great . Maybe you should consider adding a removable liner for weather changes .

OK...so I hope this isn't a duplicate, but I couldn't find my review! I bought the backpack in medium for my 18 lb dachshund. I had to fight her to get her into it, but after I got her in and we walked around the house for a bit she settled in. I do think for a dachsie a slightly wider base would be better, but we'll see how it goes. The backpack felt pretty comfortable...
I also bought a collar - it's really nice, but I do wish the lettering stood out a bit more.
All-in-all I'm very happy with my 2 purchases - they seem well made, so I hope they last.

My Bella loves to ride in the doggie backpack but one day she was frightened by a squirrel and managed to climb and scratch her way out of the head opening. The sliding string lock for the head opening opens too easily.
